The Norfolk Fire Service are reminding everyone to take extra care over the next few days as the ground is still very dry. Strictly no bonfires should be taking place at all and no BBQ’s should take place on grass. Please help keep everyone safe.
If you do see a fire please call 999 and ask the Fire Brigade, do not attempt to put the fire out yourself.
Holt Town Council are recruiting a new team member for the Council’s Maintenance Team. The post is 20 hours a week with some weekend work expected. The full Job Description is available below.
Due to the Clerk being unwell the HTC meeting due to take place this evening at the Playing Fields has been postponed and will take place next week on Monday 18th July at 7pm instead.
Holt Town Council are aware that there has been a rise in vandalism in the town over the last few weeks. Some Fairy Doors have been damaged along with a memorial bench on Spout Hills, and a goal post on the Playing Fields. There has also been recent graffiti on the underpass. The Town Council urges anyone with any information on the above to contact the Police on 101.
