We currently have a couple of vacancies for volunteers at the Holt Tourist Information Centre (TIC) on a Thursday and Friday afternoon 12.30pm – 3pm. If you are interested in joining the friendly team at the TIC then please email the Town Clerk. Full training will be given.

Unfortunately the Defib training planned for Monday 20th at St. Andrew’s Church has been postponed. As soon as a new date has been secured it will be advertised online and in the Holt Chronicle.

The Holt Lights Committee require volunteers, can you help? Are you able to give a few hours between now and November to help plan the Holt Light Switch On? Are you available on the night to help out? Without volunteers the event will be unable to run.

Holt Town Council need to plan for the future use of the Cley Road Cemetery and so have launched a questionnaire to find out how residents currently use the site and if they intend to be buried (or have their cremated remains buried) in the cemetery in the future. Questionnaires have been distributed in the Holt Chronicle, there is also the option to fill in a questionnaire online here https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/XZDZFNN

Holt Town Council are recruiting a brand new role of Custodian.

The role is for 7.5 hours a week and involves opening, closing and cleaning the brand new refurbished Church Street Toilets. It also includes opening and closing the Memorial Gardens.

The role is Thursday – Monday and is currently being offered as a seasonal role to the end of October 2024.

£12 per hour. Immediate start required.
